French Market
Traditional French Market- Le Marché du 14 Juillet takes place at Kampa, from 12 to 15 July.
Every year there are more than 20 stalls with products from different parts of France, which visitors to the market may enjoy both on site or take with them home. This year you may look forward to sausages from Auvergne, pate from Limousine, wines from Bordeaux, Languedoc or Bourgogne, pancakes and oysters from Brittany, lavender from Provence, Armagnac from Gascogne, cheeses from all over France, French pâtisseries, snails, champagne bars and much more.
The atmosphere of a classic French market is always accompanied by special decoration. The market itself is made more enjoyable by live music every day from 14.00 o´clock. To celebrate the French national holiday, i.e. 13 and 14 July – will be represented by evening concerts lasting up to 10:00 p.m., including French dance party!
The French market is not only a kind of classic market. It is also a place where you can sit with friends and with a glass of good wine and a dish of something special to go with it, here under the trees in the city centre, near the Charles Bridge. Or you can just relax in deck chairs and enjoy the generally relaxed and friendly atmosphere of this event.
The market is open every day from 10.00 a.m. to 08:00.00 / 10.00 p.m. . As usually, it is officially opened by Ambassador of the France, so you all are cordially invited to this event.
